Precision Sensors Designed Around Your Specifications

At HF Jensen, we thrive on high quality and customization. By combining decades of engineering expertise with innovative thinking, we create precise, reliable sensor solutions tailored to our customers’ exact requirements.

We specialize in custom solutions — even for small production volumes. Our sensors can be tailored across multiple parameters, including:

Customizable features include:

  • Measurement principle
  • Mechanical and electronic design
  • Materials and environmental testing
  • Measuring ranges

Customization in Action

Our expertise comes to life in collaborations with clients across diverse industries. Below, we’ll showcase two examples — one from the marine sector, and one from high-pressure homogenizers — to illustrate how we turn complex requirements into successful, real-world sensor solutions.

HF Jensen products applied in Marine Diesel Engines

The marine industry requires sensor technology that works whether your vessel is operating in the tropics or polar regions, to ensure optimal performance of marine engines. Here accurate control of fuel injection and exhaust valves is a necessity to succeed in developing safe and reliable marine operations with greener and cleaner energy sources.

Early on in the development of a two stroke ME engine, MAN Energy Solutions asked HF Jensen to develop a sensor for measuring the position of the exhaust valve and later the Fuel Injection Valve (FIVA).

Customization of our PTA pressure transmitter for high-pressure homogenizers

Homogenization must meet strict regulatory and quality standards, especially in food, biotech, and pharma industries. Precision in measuring the pressure in this process is essential for the outcome.

By adapting the mechanical interface and O-ring front of our PTA sensor, we ensure a perfect fit into systems like those from BOS Homogenisers — eliminating the need for additional modifications.

HF Jensen’s high pressure sensors are machined out of traceable titanium and have a surface roughness better than 0.4 µm Ra. The extremely high burst pressure and no oil filling guarantees a high food safety.
